The LDU Maker’s Academy is a dynamic, hands-on training program focused on manufacturing, merchandising, product development, and retail operations. Designed for emerging entrepreneurs, creative thinkers, and future brand-builders, this academy equips students with the practical skills and industry insight needed to bring their ideas to life — and into the marketplace.

Whether you’re developing a fashion line, launching a new product, or reimagining the retail experience, the Maker’s Academy provides the foundational knowledge, tools, and mentorship to help you move from concept to shelf.

Students in this track will gain experience in:
• Apparel production and manufacturing workflows
• Retail merchandising and store layout strategies
• Product development cycles from prototyping to production
• Inventory management and sales forecasting
• Brand strategy, packaging, and storytelling
• Point-of-sale systems, e-commerce tools, and retail operations
